The store features sketches and designs from my grandfather Merrill Coffin. A local artist since childhood his works concentrated on local themes, barns and wildlifes in Chautauqua County. Christmas Eve of last year my grandfather passed away. To keep his memory and works alive the family has created a website featuring his works that span over 60 years. For the past year I've been scanning in numerous sketches that the family has and we are now offering copies of these sketches through cafe press. All proceeds will be going to a scholarship in his name. The above work originiated from a design from a toy trunk that he created for his granddaughters circa 1980. I took the theme of the trunk and recreated it in a design program. These cards have been recreated into notecards and Christmas Cards.
